By profession an Architect, also Accredited Professional of IGBC have always in my mind of sustainable development. After becoming mother of 2 and taking a break from architecture found that clothing also plays a major role in pollution and with recent shift to synthetic fabrics, we have done enough harm to our environment. Thus we at Hunar in India promote Sustainable Fabrics of India and promote ancient Indian Techniques for beautification of fabrics like ,hand block printing, hand embroidery and many more.
Process of making, usage and decomposing many synthetic Fabrics, are harmful for our environment and us too. Thus, at Hunar in India our prime motto is to Save the Art we all Love and that is also sustainable.
